Are you unsure of your English, and concerned that it might negatively affect the chances of your manuscript being published? Bad English is, indeed, one of the largest reasons for which submitted manuscripts are so-called “desk rejected” by editors, i.e. not even put into peer review. The explanation is simple: English that is hard for reviewers to understand distracts them from the science itself.

I offer scientific editing services at the level of the text, structure and figure material of scientific manuscripts. My fee is based on the total number of words in the text to be edited, and I guarantee a turnaround time of a few days, depending on the size of the work.

I am happy to edit technical texts and feature texts, e.g. for broad readerships, or even ghost-write a text if provided with the essential material and notes. In addition, I will gladly edit reports, grant applications, project plans etc.

I am also able to translate works from German to English and vice versa.
